ジェーンさんからのメッセージです。コンサートではソロのパートの他、オーディエンスも一緒に音楽を作ります。えらい楽しそうです！！
On Sunday, March 14th, at 15:00, flutist/composer Jane Rigler will present recent compositions as well as an interactive concert incorporating audience participation. After a brief solo performance she will present the audience a set of hand signals that can be used by anyone to conduct/shape and create spontaneous musical pieces with any number of people. To help aid the audience, Jane will encourage people to use not only their voices as musical instruments, but also numerous found objects that can be used as sources of sound. Together, Jane and audience members will use their environment, voices, listening skills and experiences to generate a new ensemble piece. Before and after the concert, the audience will be invited to listen to an “installation” of several electronic works she composed during her week at Studio Kura.
