この度アートスペースStudio Kura（糸島市）では、この度、ニースと、ソウルを拠点に活動する作家チュヒ・ヤンによる作品展「A growing point : Tiny Chaos」を行います。これは、チュヒがStudio Kuraのアーティスト・イン・レジデンスプログラム＊で滞在制作した成果を発表する展覧会です。彼女は世界各地でのグループ展に参加しており、滞在した地域特有の素材を用いて様々なインスタレーションを制作しています。今回の滞在では竹を使ったインスタレーションと写真の展示を行います。是非ご覧いただければ思っております。

地域社会におけるアート・異文化への理解と交流を実現させる場として、福岡県糸島市二丈にある民家の米蔵をスタジオに改装。招聘されたアーティストは、ここに一ヶ月間滞在しながら制作を行います。プログラム終了時には、その成果を展覧会やコンサートで発表します。期間中、アーティストは制作のみに留まらず、地域のの方々を対象にワークショップを行うなど積極的な活動を行っています。
